Just Day 3 and I’m already beginning to feel the pressure! Not, surprisingly, where the actually haiku writing is concerned but finding the time to sit down and post it! Also the browsing for pictures is a double-edged sword – on the one hand it’s predictably inspirational while on the other i tend to wander off down memory lane instead of sticking to the task at hand π
I have always loved the Moon. I find her mystic allure irresistible and seductive. Her sensual shimmer and gentle shine bathe the sleeping earth, making everything look better in moonlight π And under her gentle caress, we lie dreaming – hopeful, serene and luminous π

Well you may be feeling mounting pressure, but you’re poetry-ing like a champ!
I’m not at all a poet, but I am enjoying your efforts.
Thanks Heather! You are very kind π I complain about pressure and yet I think I work best when it’s around! Such a pain π
Because you are forcing the inspiration? This poem was beautiful and tranquil. That picture is awesome with the out of focus flowers in the foreground, it really brings the moon into a sharp contrast. Love it!
Thanks Eliza π Inspiration isn’t forced – well not just yet, but the actual putting together ofthe picture and text takes longer than I want coz my 5-yr-old keeps interrupting π I’m glad you liked the picture, it’s one of my favourites π
