NaPoWriMo – Day 7

We don’t really have a Spring here in India. The cold in December and January melts directly into the humid heat of a March summer! And Summers are a time for Bubbles!! I remember being fascinated by them as a child and I’m reliving my memories now with my son who loves them just as much πŸ™‚

Chasing Bubbles is a favorite summertime activity for us both! Whether it’s their transient nature or their rainbow colors as they dance in the sunlight or the reflections on their plasticky surfaces – there’s just something childishly alluring about them. They symbolize simplicity yet hint at promised luxury (think lavender bubble baths…sigh :))!

A toast then – To the humble Bubble with a glass of your favorite Bubbly πŸ˜‰ (Oh I know it’s corny πŸ˜› It’s Sunday – corny’s allowed ;))

Week 42_1

Have a Bubbly Sunday People πŸ˜€ (No I couldn’t resist :P)

  1. Bubbles are so much fun, but I like to look at them more than play with them. A balloon though can keep me occupied for an inexplicably long time πŸ˜‰

  2. Loved bubbles as a child and I still love them now! Instead of spring (although I love that time) I^d rather have summer right after winter.

    1. Me too! Thy r so much fun and so easy!! Me, I love the cold weather probably because we don’t have a winter where I live. The thought snow makes my heart race πŸ˜‰ I know a lot of my friends who live in cold countries don’t agree a all!! Hey long for the sun πŸ™‚

  3. I love this! My most recent bubble experience, my cousin’s little dog, some weird bulldog type, jumps 3 times his body size to snatch bubbles out of the air. It is so ridiculous and ugly that he is cute!
Gorgeous picture, you caught all the oil slick colors beautifully πŸ™‚

  4. Thanks Elisa πŸ™‚ ROFL…that is a rather weird funny picture you have me imagining there πŸ˜‰ There’s just something about bubbles isn’t there?!! πŸ˜›
