Have been stumped today! It’s been a chaotic day because Ishaan is at home on a Holiday and as a result, uninterrupted thought, speech, writing, practically anything – is IMPOSSIBLE π Add to that the fact that my Internet has been acting up lately and it’s well nigh a recipe for disaster – well at least for one of my famous temper tantrums π That is until I found this picture!Β
There is just something so soothing and calming about it that my poor frazzled nerves could not help but settle down a little π Perhaps the colors – that blushing purple-pink and the fuzzy pale green; perhaps just the powerful simplicity and implied promise of a beautiful flower in the making π Whatever it is – I feel happier and more in control. I wonder if that’s what Spring feels like ? πΒ
It it beautiful…the colors and the shape! That is the spring spirit for sure!
Thanks Irena π I’m so glad you feel that way too π
That flower is lovely, and is surely a renewal of life π
In my world spring is frustrating – perhaps that’s why we get flowers? To calm our frazzled, frustrated nerves? It was 67 (19C) here on Sunday, and it snowed again last night. Sigh.
Thanks Heather π What better way I say! Flowers are like little colorful bursts of joy I like to think π
But really…this can’t be normal can it? I mean surely such a long delay to Spring isn’t right? Is this like a weather phenomenon, a one off thing? Or is this part of the global climate change do you think?
Your wait for Spring was fun at first but now I’m rooting for a Speedy Summer for you π Fingers crossed!
We have a very long winter in northern Michigan, but compared to “normal” we’re about two weeks behind this year. So we’re just a late spring, and have had lots of grey, snowy days which isn’t so usual. Really, it’s not uncommon for us to have bursts of snow in May. I’m just ready already π
Snow in May??!!! Sounds like heaven to me!! π We’re hoping the Monsoons will come early this year…meanwhile we’re all awfully, stingily sweaty…sigh!
Sorry…that should read stinkily π
