This is my 300th post!! Rather chuffed I am, in a silly sort of way π Didn’t think I’d last this long…not known for my sticking to any one thing for a significant length of time…just ask Mom or Hubby or…well Me π I’m a restless soul – and in lieu of any other explanation – I must concede that I was born this way. I’m like the proverbial rolling stone, rolling this way and that, gathering bits of moss – some stick, some fall away, all leave a mark – invisible or otherwise. It isn’t entirely a bad way to be, to live…although there are moments when I crave the illusion of security that chaperones the more steady existence. Very brief moments π
For the most part though…I’m content with being who I am and Happy – in the way a ride on the roller coaster makes me happy π It might not be everyone’s cup of coffee (I am not a tea person) – but it suits me just fine π I want to send a huge THANK YOU to all my readers without whom…on many days…there would have been no reason to lay pen on paper or I suppose finger on key! Many are the times when I have despaired of ever writing another word, and a nudge from a friend has rekindled the flame. You know who you are – THANK YOU!Β And I LoveΒ You all for your kind words of encouragement and support. Can’t do it without you, so please keep the Β coming People π There…that’s my little ‘speechy’ moment all done and dusted π
And in return for all the Love you have shown me here’s a little something from Mr. Monkton that I hope you will find useful!
Because…we could ALL do a little bit of Loveliness in our LivesΒ n’estΒ pas?
Happy Monday Mes Amis π
“..in the way a ride on the roller coaster makes me happy ” <—— hahah!!
Congrats on your 300th post H! It sort of coincides with my 3rd bloggy anniversary (it was yesterday!)
Question: How did you get that heart to pulsate???
Must tell you I have grown to really appreciate Mr Monkton, and it's all because of you! So give yourself a happy hug for that! π As for the cloud of loveliness….well, what could be lovelier than to float away?! I think I shall follow the advice and do just that!
Thank you M π And Congratulations to you too π
Answer: Google heart emoticon in Images and it should come up!
I’m so glad you feel that way M! I remember when a friend of mine first introduced to him many years ago…it was love at first laugh π Hug duly given and one sent your way too. Happy floating…have been doing it all morning…with Mr. Benedict Cumberbatch no less π
Hey just watched all 3 marathon seasons!! Sherlock dished up any which way seems to be lapped up!
I had typed out a comment and it seems to have vanished! Anyway…I just wanted to say I agree with you completely! Have you watched the older Sherlock with Jeremy Brett. He was superlative and is still a favourite. RDJ has his own unique charm in the movies but BC…now he’s in a category all his own π π
Shame on me! I read this the other day on my phone and then completely forgot to come back and let you know I had checked in and am happy for you! Congratulations on your 300th! They come and go so quickly, don’t they?
Are you still floating on your cloud? Or are you off planning another move? Do you move as much as Tony and I historically have? We are coming up on a big anniversary – this house is quickly becoming the place we’ve lived longest since we moved away from home! Talk about roots!
And don’t even get me started on Sherlock π LOVED the third season. Plan to watch it again soon!
Thanks Heather π Don’t worry about it, although I do wait for your comments and the conversations that follow! Yours and M’s π
Saw a great movie yesterday and drooled in typical teenage fashion over the lead actor…he plays a two-bit criminal and looks the part (he looks very suave in real life) but his acting melted my heart π I see very few Bollywood movies since most of them are rubbish…but I am glad I saw this one. So was floating yesterday rather π
Am floating a little today too, coz I managed to take a shot for the photography challenge that I’m pretty pleased with π
No moving! Not for a few years yet! My longest stint (apart from growing up in Goa) was the 10 years in Bombay during which we moved houses 4 times!!! I feel quite giddy now that I’m actually writing it down π The longest I’ve stayed in any one house is 4 years in Singapore! How many years for you guys? There are times when I yearn for roots and then as soon as they show signs of sprouting…I chicken out π
As for BC in Sherlock…I have only one thing to say mon ami…He’s mine π
